3D Stimulus Day

On Saturday, April 4th we are planning a day for the 3d community in the northeast at Mt. Ida College in Newton, MA.

Registration begins 9am, event from 10am-6pm.

There is no cost to attend and refreshments will be provided.

As we face tenuous times, we thought it could benefit everyone to pull together the 3d community in the northeast, without industry or product-centric boundaries, to network, learn and support each other as artists – whether by learning a new product, a new industry using 3d, basically building a community.

Sessions include:

Realistic Mental Ray Skin Shader in Maya
Cell & Molecular Visualization with Maya
Intro to 3dsMax Mental Ray Rendering
Making Money as an Artist with Turbo Squid
Learning Computer Animation for Success

We will also be showing the SIGGRAPH Animation Festival Screenings DVD… you don’t want to miss it!!!! More info & registration at http://www.get.com/3d_events.html or email hjelev@get.com with any questions.
