The Boston Post Mortem is helping support the Independent Game Conference East, which is coming to Boston in May! I’m especially excited because not only does the conference feature a great deal of talented local developers giving sessions, but there are also developers coming from Florida, Texas, Montreal, and many other places to share their knowledge.

The following info includes location details, pricing, and a special 10% discount code for Boston Post Mortem members.

IGC East will also be sponsoring this month’s Post Mortem meeting, and there will be more information available there!

Game Path LLC is excited to bring the Independent Game Conference, now in its 4th year, to the East Coast!   This May 7-8, IGC East will take place at the Northeastern University campus in Boston, Massachusetts, and will attract developers from across the East Coast to come together and discuss the latest trends and tools for development while addressing the challenges that studios face in creating new, exciting content.

IGC East is for developers of all platforms, including iPhone, Web, Flash, and Console who want a leg up on the competition and for the publishers who want to see the hottest games in development by the rising stars of the industry. Every session is designed to be immediately useful to you, not a grand announcement about a solution that’s months or even years away.

The IGC Game Demo Night has become a feature of the conference with good reason.  Any attendee can bring their game, in any stage of development to show on May 7th.  Participants will show off their creativity and skills to their peers, publishers, and the press in an informal and entertaining setting.  Each of the last two years of IGC, 25% of Demo Night participants have received financial deals directly related to their participation at the event!  This is an evening that you can’t afford to miss!
