We’ll be wrapping up the year with the folks from the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab! Their students developed six (actually seven) games this past summer, each tackling a different, hairy problem, and arriving at some unexpected insights along the way. This rapid-fire postmortem will include some thoughts about the subtle influence of game engines, 2D sprite stylization, procedural puzzle generation, player expectations, explaining game research to the press, and what we don’t yet know about educational games.

You can check out their games here.

We’re also back to our usual location at The Skellig in Waltham.

Wed, December 8th
7pm @ The Skellig, Waltham
