Event Description – B.U.G.’s fifth meetup! Come talk about Unity game development with your peers.

  • Yilmaz Kiymaz and Alex Schwartz of Owlchemy Labs will be presenting methods of producing 2D games in a 3D engine (Unity) as well as showing some tips and tricks used during the development of Smuggle Truck. They will also be releasing some code to the public that helps alleviate some of the issues that arise when locked to 2d.
  • We will be continuing the tradition of a Unity demo showcase, featuring some work in progress and completed Unity games. Email alex@owlchemylabs.comor elm@VermontDigitalArts.com to reserve a demo slot!
  • We’ll be heading out a bit early and holding an informal Unity roundtable at CBC (Cambridge Brewing Company) to discuss a hot topics among Unity developers (topics TBD!)
