From our friends at the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab:

Everyone has that one game, you know the game…The one game that everyone loves but you kind of hate.  Do you like complaining about it?  If the answer is yes, we need you!!

On Saturday Feb 18th from noon till midnight is first annual CRAPPY GAME COMPLAINING MARATHON!  There will be twelve one hour blocks during the marathon.  During your own one hour block you will have the chance to verbally trash any game you see fit in front of an audience of your peers (or peer substitutes).  The event will be USTREAMed live to raise money for The Boys and Girls Clubs . Every $2,500 we raise will fully fund a program for one year at a Boys and Club.

So, if you wish to play/trash a game for one hour during the twelve hour marathon…

A) Give me the name of the game you want to play? And a sentence or two as to why you selected this game (for the pledge site)

B) A few preferred times during that day you could take your shift? (i.e. 3-4PM or 6-7PM)

C) Are you going to trash solo or are bringing someone to team up with during your shift? If yes, who will that be?

Please let me know by Friday January 27th, 2012.  I will contact you with your shift time on Monday January 30th.

Thanks
Gene

Can we show up to cheer people on or is this private?

Thanks for posting this Darius! Yes, please email sooner than later if you are interested in attending, only a few slots are left (12 in total) so if you have a game you want to trash for all of the world to see, email me (generoso@mit.edu) directly with “Contestant for Crappy Game Complaining Marathon” in the subject line and tell me about what you would like to do during your shift. GAMBIT will have massive amounts of happy foods and good people to egg you on.
