Streaming and Sharing – Stuff Every Developer Should Know About Live Streaming
Live streaming and content creation has become a new battleground for developers in the fight for players and customers. This talk is focused on why viewers watch live streams and game video content and has strategies and ideas on how developers can build a more streamable and sharable game. There will be a deep dive into viewer motivations, types of video content and styles of streamers which will be followed up with opportunities that any developer can take advantage of.

About the Presenter:

Seth Sivak began in the industry as a gameplay programmer and has been a product manager, lead designer, and executive producer. Prior to Proletariat, Seth was the Lead Designer on Indiana Jones Adventure World at Zynga Boston. In 2011, he was named one of Game Developer Magazine’s Top 50 Developers and, in 2012, was recognized in Develop Magazine’s 30 under 30 and has given several popular GDC talks.

There are two entrances to the American Twine Building- one is closer to second street around the side of the building, this is the entrance you want! Take elevators up to the 4th floor and that entire floor is Intrepid. After 6pm security will ask you to sign in but no ID is required.
