September Post Mortem Slides
We had a great Post Mortem last night. Thanks again to our sponsors, GamerDNA, and our speaker Jon Radoff (their CEO). They have kindly posted their slides for all to see! There is some great data in there on the way players are engaging with games.
Attendance was about 140 and I think it’s safe to [...]
June Chapter Meeting UPDATE
This just in: due to some travel cancellations, GET and Autodesk are no longer running their 4pm-7pm event on Wednesday.
Do not go to The Skellig at 4PM. Do, however, go at 7PM!
The regular Post Mortem meeting from 7pm-10pm will still be happening, and the lovely folks at Great Eastern Technology have been kind enough to [...]
WPI IMGD Speaker Series
The Interactive Media & Game Development (IMGD) program at WPI has been running a weekly speaker series for the past few years, open to the public.

That video is being screened at the SIGGRAPH/Boston meeting at Northeastern. If you like graphics, it’s a real opportunity to see the state of the art.
Jobs page updated
We’ve got a new job on the jobs page, from Tilted Mill.
The jobs page is a bit of a pain to maintain. I have a little helper app that gives me a form to fill out, and then I can cut and paste from the resulting text into the XHTML file that contains the job [...]
New web site architecture
As we threatened last month, we’ve switched over to WordPress for managing this site. There’s still quite a bit of work left to do, but it’s already close to being better than it was.
These changes will allow a few useful things:
Easier site management for the committee — in particular, it will provide a way for [...]
