full time Gameplay Engineer

at Neuromotion Labs in Boston, MA

Neuromotion Labs makes video games that help children with emotional regulation challenges such as ADHD and anxiety. We are pioneering a new area of gameplay. Founded out of Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, the science has as effective as medication in multiple clinical trials. In its early state, our product has been tested with hundreds of kids. We have paying customers. We have raised venture capital. We need your help.

We are looking for a gameplay engineer. Emotional input is an entirely new game mechanic. We need someone to help link emotions to moment-to-moment gameplay, engage in the design process, and watch how players react to what we've built.

We are a small company where everybody wears multiple hats. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment where everything can be questioned, enjoys refactoring their view of the world in response to new insights, and hungers to make things happen. This is a high growth opportunity--expect an uncomfortable amount of work and an uncomfortable amount of things to learn.

Sound good? The more of these you have, the better.
o Mad, crazy love of video games. Hunger to make them. Hunger to understand them.
o Fluent in C#
o Experience with Unity
o Experience with mobile platforms
