part time Customer Relations Specialist

at Demiurge Studios in Cambridge, MA

We’re a small team of game makers with a large hit on our hands. Marvel Puzzle Quest has a very dedicated following and we want to improve our relationship with our players. This role goes beyond Customer Service duties; we need a Customer Relations Specialist, who can work to understand our most dedicated fans, anticipate their needs and go the extra mile to make sure they’re overwhelmingly happy.

You’ll be on the Marvel Puzzle Quest team, working with Product Management. You’ll be in charge of working closely with our best customers to keep them happy. Your daily work will involve responding to support tickets, crafting personal responses to players, planning care packages for the most devout, or helping the team handle in-game emergencies; sometimes all in the same day! You’ll be empowered to make sweeping changes to our customer service policy, and to communicate and enforce those changes with support staff.

This role can be part time or full time based on your experience.


  • Empathy – You don’t just listen, you understand.
  • Great writing – You communicate clearly, and can translate complicated thoughts into clear sentences.
  • Ability to prioritize – You see the forest for the trees, and can pick which fire to put out first.


  • Marvel fan – You’ll be working with the hardcore Marvel faithful, and speaking their language helps.
  • Community experience – You’ve worked with a rabid fanbase, and understand their needs.
