Game Analyst / Tester
at Silverman McGovern (Anywhere)
We are currently looking for a Game Analyst/Tester to evaluate game submissions. Each submission will be reviewed for accurate Brand representation including game design, game rules, user interface design and the overall quality of the game play experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear documentation of evaluation results
- Create and run test cases
- Regression testing of re-submitted assets and builds
- Assist in forming and improving evaluation systems and procedures
- Assist with coordinating test coverage with Product Development
Bachelors degree or computer science background
- 2 - 5 years Quality Assurance experience in the gaming industry
- Proficient with current video game console platforms
- Proficient with Windows and Macintosh operating systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel. (MS Project a plus)
- Solid understanding of the software development process a plus
Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Must be very analytical, have excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Must be a fast learner
- Strong desire to be in the interactive gaming industry
- An avid and passionate gamer
