Project Manager:
FashionPlaytes is an ambitious ecommerce startup for girls modeled around user created fashions and social gaming.
We are hiring a Project Manager/Producer to create and manage schedules, assign tasks, manage deliverables and co-ordinate project teams and inter-departmental requirements. This is a very visible role in the company. The candidate will work across all levels of the company from the CEO to external contractors to make projects and relationships happen! This is a fun, creative position offering tremendous experience and exposure in a dynamic, startup environment. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has a passion for delivering projects on-time and on-budget, and has a proven history of building successful relationships and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
• Create project plans and schedules
• Manage internal and external client expectations
• Partner with project sponsor to define project objectives, scope,
schedule, and budget
• Identify, assess and minimize project risks to ensure successful project
completion
• Ability to foster working relationships with the team and client
departments
• Projects will include owning the company calendar and scheduling
development projects, apparel releases, website releases, photo shoots
and special projects.
• Knowledge of project management tools required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• 3+ years experience working in an e-commerce or social gaming
environment. Start-up or fashion experience a bonus.
• Extremely proactive with a results-driven orientation
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and
Project Management software.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong organizational skills – must be able to manage multiple projects
and juggle schedules
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, turning
ideas and feedback into actionable plans
• Sense of humor and positive attitude essential!
