Turbine Inc. seeks a Senior Web Developer for the Turbine Online Service Platform department. We are looking for an exceptional PHP Developer to join our WB.Net Web Engineering department. The ideal candidate would enjoy working as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team. The candidate should feel comfortable working on highly scalable, high profile web sites, and would work very closely with front end developers and our service platform using the latest technologies and best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• 5-7 years of professional development experience in PHP. This is a PHP position, experience in similar languages that are NOT PHP are a plus, but does not replace this requirement.
• CS Degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to productively work in Agile Development Team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Object Oriented PHP, 5.2+.
• Zend Framework or equivalent experience in at least 2 other leading PHP frameworks.
• Strong understanding of modern Version Control (Git, Perforce, etc).
• Strong understanding of PHP centric development patterns.
• Strong understanding of Linux, Apache.
• MySQL.
• Ability to digest and understand SOAP and Rest Web Services and relevant APIs.
• Drupal.
• Doctrine2/ORM.
• A current CSS, HTML skill set.
• Smarty Template Engine.
• JQuery.
• vBulletin experience.
• Unit Testing.
• UML.
• Eclipse based IDE – Zend Studio, Aptana + PDT, Eclipse + PDT.
