Subatomic Studios, the award-winning independent developer of Fieldrunners and Tinkerbox, is currently seeking QA interns to join us for an exciting unannounced project. This position is an unpaid internship working at the Subatomic Studios office in Cambridge, MA. This is a great opportunity for students looking to break into the games industry. College credit may also be arranged for this internship.   We are looking for bright and motivated students who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field. As a member of the QA team, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting any bugs or issues found in our software. As such, strong candidates will be attentive and analytical thinkers who have a solid grasp of software development and who are able to adapt quickly to new situations.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be actively engaged in earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Passion for games and game development
  • A keen eye for detail 

Major Pluses:

  • Knowledge of game development and software engineering
  • Knowledge or experience with mobile or handheld development
  • Previous software QA experience
  • Familiarity with Bugzilla or other issue-tracking software
