iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations was founded in 2004 by Dave Kaemmer and John Henry and subsequently released the premier online racing simulation service in August 2008. Kaemmer was co-founder of Papyrus Design Group, developers of award-winning racing simulations including “Grand Prix Legends” and NASCAR 2003.” Henry is principal owner of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool Football Club, as well as co-owner of NASCAR’s Roush Fenway Racing.

iRacing.com has developed dozens of formal partnerships in the motorsport industry to help create the most authentic racing simulation in the world including with NASCAR, IndyCar, GRAND-AM, International Speedway Corporation, Speedway Motorsports, McLaren Electronics, Classic Team Lotus, Williams F1, Volkswagen, Ford, GM and many more.

iRacing.com is located in Bedford, Massachusetts which is about 20 miles north of Boston.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who will report directly to our CTO.

Requirements:

- At least 4 years work experience programming in the PC environment using C and C++
- Knowledge of DirectX API’s
- Familiarity with Javascript
- Familiarity with TCP/UDP and HTTP protocols
- Familiarity with SQL
- Familiarity with Java
- Strong math skills are an absolute necessity

Pluses:

- Racing game development experience
- Interest in racing and racing games
- Simulation or MMO game development experience
- Console or mobile application development experience
