Mobile Games Programmer
at RatDog Games (Anywhere)
RatDog Games is a self funded start up mobile games developer out of Dartmouth, MA. Having released Animal Control this past summer they are nearing completion of two other titles: Paint Wars and EverDead: Zombie Apocalypse.
We are currently seeking multiple programmers to develop new features for upcoming mobile games. (android and ios) Programmers will be able to work from home but may be subject to infrequent on site meetings. We would prefer a candidate who is within 100 miles of us but we can accommodate if the right person applies.
We are also willing to work with college students who are looking for part time programming work to gain experience in the industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Review feature design documentation and provide necessary feedback
•Implement a wide range of game features to required specifications
•Documents code thoroughly to help other programmers working on the same project
•Assists in the creation of test plans by working closely with Quality Assurance.
•Fixes bugs to improve the user experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong Programming Abilities
• Hard worker who is able to work independently and meet deadlines
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience with Lua scripting language (and corona sdk)
• A portfolio of projects you have worked on
• Code Samples
