Hello,

I just joined this society and wanted to sign up for the newsletter . While I live in Augusta, Maine I hope to be attending most of the upcoming events and really want to meet some other people both in and aspiring to be in the game development industry.

Can you recommend a gaming / animation school? What should a good animation school offer? What kind of accredidation should it have? What should I watch out for? I’d appreciate any feedback or direction you can provide.

I am producing a Career Day event at my High School in Dixfield, Maine on January 24, 2011, and I am looking for a Computer Game Designer to represent the field. We have many students interested in this career, and we really want someone who can conduct some small group workshops in which they speak about the career from experience. Is there anyone out there who might be able to do this? Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone! My teacher at ITT Tech told me about this website and suggested I sign up. I’m currently working with 3ds Max and really enjoying the program. Does anyone know of any offers or deals for getting the program cheap or free? I’d love to be able to work on my laptop but the program is really expensive (over a thousand bucks!)
